We at TM celebrate Brian Cox’s contribution to the popularisation of science. Always friendly and energetic about his subject, Brian is a great spokesman and young star of particle physics.
You will know Brian Cox from his sterling work on the ATLAS project at the Large Hadron Collider in CERN (of course you do) but he also appears for the BBC Wonders series and The Infinite Monkey Cage radio show as well as a lot of other good stuff. Brian is also a big supporter of The Royal Institution of Great Britain – the heart and foundation of British and world science.
We also remember him in the 80s as keyboard playing band member of D:Ream.
